In impact, your program of measures can be displayed in a transparent tree structure, the so-called program tree.
In the left area of the user interface, you can see the program tree. The program tree is initially created by the PMO or the administrator according to your program environment and provides a quick overview of the integrated elements at any time.
impact enables the definition of several structure levels:
1. |
Folder |
Top-level structure element (e.g. programs of measures, business areas); optionally, any number of folders and folder levels can be created |
2. |
Program: |
Aggregation level including several projects |
3. |
Project: |
Aggregation of several measure packages |
4. |
Measure package: |
Includes several measures with the same objective |
5. |
Measures: |
Operational implementation |
The implementation of a program takes place through the implementation of defined measures. Activities, milestones and effects are planned and tracked at the measure level. The other levels are aggregation levels of the respective levels below. Status reports can be generated at all levels.
Progress of the respective element is visualized via status lights on the levels from program to measure (implementation progress and effect achievement).
By clicking on a program tree level and depending on your user role, different tabs for data processing and aggregation appear in the workspace (right area of the user interface). A person responsible for a measure only sees the tabs "Profile" and "Process".
