In impact, every measure follows a predefined measure process over its lifecycle. With this process, there is an integrated approval workflow for every Degree of Implementation (DoI), which can be designed as follows:
- Identical for all measures
- Individuall and flexible for particular parts of the program (number and of approvers (1-5); order of approvers; roles)
The approval workflow can be defined when the program structure is created or adapted as required at a later stage
Once the prerequisites for the next DoI are fulfilled, the measure can be developed to the next DoI by approval from predefined users.
By clicking the option “approved” in the “Process” tab the next responsible user in the approval chain will automatically be notified about the measure’s progress via email and is asked to check and approve the progress.
If the measure is marked for revision the person responsible for the measure (that is also the first user in the chain of approval) will be notified for revision.
Example approval workflow:
The measure is currently in Degree of Implementation 1 (DoI 1). The requirement for DoI 2 has been fulfilled. The final approval by controlling and PMO is outstanding. Once these approvals are granted, the measure is developed into DoI 2.
